MY BEST FIVE TRANSFER DEALS OF THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW.

As the transfer window comes to an end, let’s look at the deals and those who made a better bargain across Europe.

Anderson Luis de Abreu:
   1.     The 26 year old Brazilian popularly known as Anderson was a Manchester United player until recently when he was transferred to Inter Milan. This powerful box to box midfielder who is known for his vision and strength was a shadow of his original self during his stay in Manchester united. Probably he would find his feet in Internacional. He went on a free transfer.

2.     Andre Schuerrie: Exit of the German was a surprise to many football followers because of his amazing talent. The former Chelsea man is a great midfielder and an amazing finisher in front of goal. His long range effort gives any team he is a part of an advantage in tight games. The 22million pounds Wolfsburg man will definitely prove himself in his home country like he had always done.

  3.     Mohamed Salah: The Egyptian was sent to Fiorentina on a loan deal which facilitated the coming of Cuadrado. Though many football enthusiasts still wonders why Chelsea bothered signing such an amazing 22 year old talent just to keep him on the bench and then loan him off again. But all the same, Salah is a magnificent player and most certainly will make his mark in Italy as he did in Switzerland and England.

4.Wilfred Bony: The energetic 26 year old Ivorian who was snapped up by Manchester city for 28million pounds is one of the most feared strikers in Europe. His power and determination coupled with an amazing wit in front of the post makes him a big catch for the blue side of Manchester. No wonder he is the most expensive purchase of the January transfer window in England.

1.     Juan Cuadrado: The versatile 26 year old Columbian since his arrival from Udinese to Fiorentina, had been the pillar upon which the Italian side rode effortlessly in the league. The 23.3million pounds quick foot and sharp dribbles makes the journey easier for any club he is a part of and there is no doubt that he have come of age in Fiorentina so we are expecting an explosive player in Stamford bridge, a thing of worry for opposition defenders. There is no doubt that Chelsea made the best deal of the transfer window.
