The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has ridiculed a member of House of Representatives, James Faleke. Ngige who appeared before the Adhoc Committee of the House of Representatives to answer questions over an alleged breach of a presidential directive called Faleke “a small boy” and claimed he was “Tinubu’s mate”. “I am at least seven years older than you. He confirmed the development in a tweet on Sunday. “Did my fourth COVID-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! What appears to be Twitter’s biggest hack just happened and  millions of dollars have been swindled in the crypto scam. Accounts belonging to Bill Gates , Elon Musk, Apple , Uber , Jeff Bezos , Kanye West , Barrack Obama among other prominent handles were hacked by Bitcoin scammers. Reports suggest that over 5,300 people have fallen for the scam already, and sent the hackers $7.8M USD so far. Twitter has already confirmed the hack and investigation and steps have been taken to fix it. The micro blogging app also lost 4% in stock value after the cyber attack. Ray Hushpuppi Lawyer to Nigerian  suspected international fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, popularly known as Ray Hushpuppi, Gal Pissetzky has said that his client was kidnapped by the FBI from Dubai and taken to the US. Hushpuppi and another suspect, Olalekan Jacob Ponle, also known as Mr Woodberry were arrested in Dubai where they lived and allegedly extradited to the US where they appeared in a Chicago court on 3 July. The US and UAE have no existing extradition treaty but Dubai police said the two suspected fraudsters were taken to the US. A spokesman for the US Department of Justice was qouted by the BBC saying that they were expelled from Dubai and not extradited. Coronavirus The advent of corona virus has brought about many myths, disinformation and fake news about what it is and it's mode of transmission. This challenge is more prominent in online spaces like blogs and the social media. This is not to deny the obvious that facts also get disseminated through those mediums by legitimate sources.  These anomalies are the reasons why I decided to make my own little contribution by separating the facts from the fakes after investigations on the claims and counter claims.
