Desperate Bride Marries Random Guest After Groom Suffers Seizure At Wedding

It’s a generally acceptable norm to postpone a wedding if the bride or groom happens to have an emergency on their wedding day. But for a young bride in India, the show had to continue and that resulted in her marrying a wedding guest instead which led to the entire guests exploding in chaos.

According to Indian times, on that ceremonious day, Jugal Kishore  25, suffered an epileptic seizure and was taken to the hospital immediately. Fortunately, Kishore recovered and was given the green light to go back to the wedding venue and continue the ceremony only to get the shock of his life. His bride Indira, 23, had gotten married without him. She married a wedding guest!

 Indira and her family had not been aware that Jugal had a medical condition and were upset that the information had been hidden from them. Right after Jugal suffered the seizure, Indira announced that she would take a wedding guest as her groom instead  and that man ended up being Harpal Singh, the brother-in-law of Indira’s sister.

Singh was surprised that he was chosen as the replacement husband, but rose to the occasion despite his casual attire of jeans and a jacket. Once Kishore found out what had happened, a brawl broke out. Kishore and several guests objected to the bride’s decision and begged her to have a rethink, pleading that Kishore could not face his friends and neighbors if he went back home without Indira as his wife. The bride refused to change her mind, even as silverware and dishes were flung across the room and fights erupted.

 The police had to be called in to detain a few guests to stop the violence.

After the incident, Kishore’s family filed a complaint with police, but later dropped it.

“Both families have amicably resolved the matter and the complaints have been withdrawn. Kishore and his family have now returned in peace to Moradabad, India.”s Officer Solanki said.
