Bizarre
Owasso police has arrested 44-year-old Karan Patrice Rebitzke for allegedly beating and kidnapping a door-to-door saleswoman who approached her home.
Reports show the bizarre crime occurred on Thursday, when local officers were dispatched to the Silver Creek neighborhood in response to a disturbance call.
The Oklahoma woman reportedly invited the victim inside the house, where the homeowner became agitated and physically assaulted and restrained her to keep her from leaving to then start ranting about religion and God.
The victim told police that she tried to leave several times, but Rebitzke, who was without clothes, blocked the door and would not let her out.
According to the victim she was able to escape from the house one hour later.
Rebitzke was transported to the Tulsa County Jail on Thursday night and was being held on a $35,000 (N11025k) bond – $500(N157,5k) each for both counts of assault and battery and obstruction/interference of a police officer, and $25,000(N788k) for kidnapping.
Officers arrived on scene Thursday evening and located the suspect, who was taken into custody on a variety of felony charges, including kidnapping, assault and battery, and obstruction/interference of a police officer.
