 A  41-year-old woman, Lois Atimosho, on Monday at an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State, confessed to child theft. Lois will know her fate on Thursday as the court has reserved judgment. The accused risks a minimum of 14 years imprisonment according to Section 275 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015 (revised). The Magistrate, Mrs A.B. Adelabu-Olagbegi, who gave the ruling, said the court has found Lois guilty of child theft and fixed Thursday for sentence. The accused, who resides at Agbede area of Ikorodu, had pleaded guilty to the charge. Earlier, the Prosecutor, Sgt. But the thrilling match ended in a little bit of controversy. They had one set apiece, and Centre Court was growing increasingly loud and excited as Konta fought for the match point. Despite the crowd being reminded several times to remain silent as the final set went on, one woman in particular couldn't contain her excitement and let out a yelp as Konta hit the ball back to Halep. Although she was clearly able to return it, Halep appeared to stop playing after hearing the noise, and the ball was stopped in the net, giving Konta the historic victory.
